Donation
Our organisation runs entirely on donations and volunteers. All of our programs are open to everyone, and no fees are required to participate. For those who are able, we encourage monthly donations to cover our operating expenses so that we can continue our intentions.
Donation methods
Below are two ways of making donations. Using the bank card via KindLink is preferred as it’s cheaper for us (i.e. lower transactional fee). It means we receive more from your donations via KindLink. PayPal donations via Charities Aid Foundation is also provided in case it’s more convenient or cheaper for you, especially if you are abroad. Thank you for the support!
Gift Aid / Your tax reduction
We are registered as a charity for tax purposes under HMRC with reference number ZD10119. If you are eligible for making Gift Aid donations (e.g. paying Income Tax or Capital Gains Tax in the UK), please tick the Gift Aid box to allow us to claim an additional £0.25 for every £1 you donate from HMRC. No extra cost on you but more for us! If you are a higher rate taxpayer, you can claim the difference between the rate you pay and the basic rate on your donation. Please refer to HMRC website for more details.
Financial Transparency
Your donations go to our essential expenditures to keep the organisation running and growing organically. The surplus fund will be mainly spent in the future on rental fees for the venues, as well as preparation for physical retreats. Any more surplus will be saved towards our own venue if we are lucky to have one in the future.
